super duty electricalstrange problem with 99 superduty 7.3 diesel. tail lights not working, brake lights and signal lights work. when i turn off key a buzzing noise starts in dash, stops when i turn hazards or signal on, starts again when hazards/signal off. stops when i turn key on. what the hell is this buzzer? is it related to tail lights (i checked fuses)?

|I HAVE A 2003 F250 WHEN ENGINE IS COLD ONLY, WHEN YOU START THE ENGINE IT CUTS OUT LIKE ITS MISSING. WHEN IT IS CUTTING OUT THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON FOR ABOUT 2 TO 3 SEC. IF YOU ARE DRIVING AT THE SAME TIME THE SPEEDOMETER MOMENTARLY DROPS AND COMES BACK UP. ABS LIGHT AND SPEEDOMETER ONLY DOES THIS WHEN ENGINE CUTS OUT.|
|I have an 06 f250 the turn signal switch i realised was bad i had no blinker on the right side hold the switch in the middle before it clicks if full position and works fine. i pulled the turn signal switch off the dash and cleaned it with electrical connector cleaner and the connectors. i disconnected the battery and waited for it to dry and put it back together and now it wont start. i put the key in the ignition and get everything execpt for the starting position, all the lights come on the radio everything. i get nothing just a click from under the dash. i checked all the fuses and relays evan replaced the ignition switch and still nothing. i took out the starter relay and jumped pin 87 to pin 30 with the key in the run position and started right up... any i deas on that??? PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE . |
|92 f250 4x4 gas. started slowly this morning. drove it went to restart and it wouldn't. put charger on it to restart. came home cleaned battery conections and it restarted. put charger on to recharge battery. 3 hours later it would not start. I have lights, radio and fan for heater. my conections are tight and all I hear is a click from the cylinoid. some one help please.|
| I have a 2005 f-250 super duty 4x4 and we have issues, started off about 3 months ago when i was hauling my trailer and the engine light came on along with lack of power, to the dealership we go to find out a 2 coil packs were bad, all good till we hooked the trailer back up lack of power again since this happen i've replaced spark plugs, all coil packs, mass air flow sensor, throtle pos. valve, and sensor, new y-pipe with 2 new cat. convertors, new ox. sensors, fuel filter, fuel pump, still now 100% yet. diffently running better but when you get below that 3 thousand rpms you have no power. this truck has beento 3 dealers and still no power. the computor shows no codes, truck has 100000 miles on it, any body have this problem. |
|i have a 2000 ford f350 crew cab dualley with a triton v10 run good cold with a small miss once get gets warmed up and you step on the gas 4 power it goes limp if you turn the key off and on real quick it take off again until you puss the gas down 2far and it does it again only code it ever shows is lean and it only did that once any ideas anyone ?|
|1999 F250 Super Duty, Keys out the blower motor stays on. Also when switching the blower heater control it causes the flasher module for the flashers and turn signal to start making a ticking noise like its a relay trying to energize. When I pulled the flasher module it quit but the blower motor stayed on until I switched it off, but would not turn back on. With the flasher module in it drains the battery, with it out the battery stays charged. Any help would be appreciated!|
|My 2000 f250 7.3 has a problem to where the horn and the radio comes on without the key only when raining if it's not raining it drives fine. can anyone please tell me where to start?|
|i have a 2004 Ford F250 5.4L when i leave the truck to sit overnight the battery drains to like 5 volts, i have checked the entire electrical system, the alternator and battery are both fine does anyone knw what causes this issue? |
|95 f350 diesel. WTS light will not come on. Cranks but no start. #22 fuse is fine. Changed out the CPS. Worked fine then went out of town and a week later it will not start. Small leak on drive have not located cause yet. Sounds like there is no spark. Next going to change the GPR. Any other ideas?|
|2004 F250 6.0L turns over but will not start on its own, spray starting fluid in and then it will start. Will then act fine for a few days or a week and then it will do it again.|

|I recently bought a 2004 f250 diesel, and I went to turn the lights on the headlights come on, the taillights do not come on and the interior lights behind the odometer dash and radio do not come on. Does anyone know what to do maybe a fuse or the switch? Also fog lights do not come on either|

trouble with the door locks, once in awhile when you get out
and leave it running the door locks will lock automatically.
so if you plsn on getting out you need to roll the window down
so your able to get back in. any info would help.
|2000 F-450 XL / Im having problems with my Hazards, Headlights, and Wipers. I had to rewire my flatbed beacuse the guy I bought I bought it from crossed alot of wires in the back. Now the wiring is correct in the back BUT now my Headlights & Wipers dont work. The Hazards havent worked since I first got it....... what could it be?? I've checked wires to make sure they werent cut or crossed also fuses are good.|

|Everyone should read the comments on the "Other" F-250 blog regarding the OD/Tow Haul cables that rub thru. Most of the battery draining is from that problem. Pull both grounds on the 2 batteries at the same time and wait 30 seconds and that will reboot the computer. That said, then look for other problems if they still exist. The other blog under this heading addresses the electrical funny stuff better than here. Correct the rub and short on the OD cables and most of the electrical probs may clear up. I spent 3 years looking for the short and found it on the other section..|

I am having similar problem as #10 chad smith and #11 on the forum how do I read there results or get the answer to their problem? my dome light is intermittent, radio stays on unless manually turned off, door ajar indicator light stays on while the truck is running....ck'd all the fuses under the dash tightened the battery terminals, and ck'd the plugs behind the fuses

I have a 2004 F250HD diesel. It would not start and I replaced both batteries, it started ok. Then a couple of days later it was hard to start and on the way home the radio went out, the ABS light came on, then all gauges including the tach and speedometer needles went left. It died and would not start again. Everyone said replace the altenator and I did. Also replaced batteries. I turn the key and all the dash lights that are suspose to come on do but then they cut off with a little whimper at the end with the gauge needles slightly fluctuating before it dies completely.

I have a 2001 F250 4X4 Crew Cab. It has 345678 miles on it. My question is this. All exterior lights work, horn works, cruise control works, but my Instrument Cluster lights and Dome lights do not. I have tried locating a fuse, but have not found any that are blown. Does anyone have any ideas where to check next.
