As far as i know, each stock radio has a specific 4 number combination that you should be able to find out from a Volvo dealership

when the radio on a 1998 S70 is locked out it says to wait two hours with the unit on. when the unit displays "OFF" with a lit back round is that off or on.

Please could anybody help, for the first time ever in the 18 years I have had my volvo 740 se Automatic YV1745277L2 (1991) model the battery was disconnected for work on the engine, it has done 269, 000 plus miles and hopefully will go on for many more but I have lost the radio code and have no Idea how to get it. please help if you can.
