Can anyone tell me where I can generate the unlock code for my Volvo cd player. Initially the car came with just a tape player, but one of its previous owners upgraded, without keeping a note of the code. Regards, Garry

Hi. I had the same problem with the radio when i changed the battery. I needed the code. I called my nearest Volvo dealer's service department. Told them what the problem was. Gave them the serial number to my stereo and they gave me the code. No charge. Do not pay for the code, if they charge you, call another dealer. They go by the serial number of your stereo. Hope this helps.

I had a starter replaced in an emergency and now my daughters car radio is locked. its a 1994 volvo (not original owner) 850. Any help would be appreciated.
