My overdrive goes on & off at will...its own will, NOT mine! My mechanic needs to know which relay controls the overfdrive off??? Is there a component locater manual? Wiring diagram? Anybody know? Thanks Bonnie

I'd check for rotting insulation on the two wires that go to the overdrive switch. I had that problem.

I have the same problem as Bonnie... Overdrive light constantly on my 1990 740...HELP!!! where is the Transmission relay switch?... Where can i get the proper manual?...

Martin, How do you get INSIDE the shifter lever to get at the switch and wiring?... HELP!
