I just found my self buying a 1980 VW Vanagon Westfalia. When I got it the engine turned over but the coil wouldn't ignite. What I'm dealing with, I think, is a car that was water cooled Know its air cool. it was fuel injected know it had's a carburetor. When I'm looking at the wiring diagram in the manual nothing makes senses. If my van is air cool and carbureted should I be looking at a 1979 bus wiring diagram?
