Hello,

i have a vw polo, year 2000. The engine sympbol with a line going through it appeared on my dashboard this morning(the line going through it reminds me of a thunder and lighting sign)

Do you have any idea what this means. i do not have a manual for this car unfort.

to the messages with the circle and 3 dots means your breaks are getting bad need to be changed that is the sensor on the pads to tell you when they need to be replaced

DRL = daytime running lights; it's advising you that your headlights are on whenever the car is running. There is a dealer supplied work-around to disable it, but I don't recommend it. Lights on for safety!
