My 2006 Highlander (34, 000 miles) Has a fluttering noise in the front which increases in noise beginning at 55 mph. Ruled out roof racks. It is wind related.

I have a 2008 highlander that I got new. The car has only 13000 miles on it. I have been following the maintenanceas indicated by toyota. But I realise that the car is developping some ratttling noise between 35 MPH and 40 MPH. I had the same problem with 06 matrix that i got rid off. Is anybody out there experiencient the same problem

The rattling noise from my 2007 Highlander was caused by uneven tire wear caused by an allignment problem.Re-alligning fixed the problem.

I have a 2008 toyota highlander that I bought used. I noticed a rattling coming from the rear passenger area. After messing with the backseat, i noticed that the side seat release lever rattles loosly against the housing. I guess that you coud put something around it to cushion it.
