ive checked many sites that told me how i could do the wiring, but with each try something messes up.
Ive gotten everything working..but only if i turn on the headlight, turn signal leaver, which ive never had to do with the original radio. also since wiring the radio the inside car light wont turn on..unless again i turn on the headlights.
to add my toyota has 6 speakers the stereo has wires for 4, so only the back speakers and the door speakers work.
any ideas to get everything to work PROPERLY.
which colors go together.
My issue with my 2002 Echo is the fact that I have to turn the lights on to start it! But that's fine, I'm okay with it because if anyone tries to steal it, they wont be able to. By biggest and most annoying problem with this car is that when I hit a bump, the stereo (9 times out of 10) turns off...then I'm left looking for another bump to kick it back on. The power to the stereo doesn't turn off, just the speakers do. I'm thinking there's a main speaker wire that has a short or loose connection. But I don't know where to even begin searching. Any suggestions?
