Cressida lovers and other experts

I recently purchased an 89 Cressida with 102, 000 miles on it. At a lube shop they observed a discolored coolant and did several drains and refills. It is a rust color and in 2000 miles it overheated. It was down about a gallon of coolant.

No milk in oil and car runs like a new vehicle. Ive had Z06's Porsches, Cobras, Camaros, etc and I have not enjoyed such a sweet ride.

Do you think this is a head gasket problem? If so what are the chances of milling and replacing fixing this problem "permanently"

Yes, you have a blown head gasket. I had the exact same problem. 89' Cressida, overheating, lost & rusty coolant, but the car ran great.

The onloy way to fix it is to replace the gasket.

Yeah, its the head gasket... i would reccomend getting a new one.

a blown head gasket can casue over heating majorly. and rust in coolant.

well good luck. i'd kinda like to see your cressida.

i have a 86' and love it.. welded diffs...

i mostly us my cressi as a daily driver.. and drifting :D go big or go home! ha
