Toyota-Corolla - Car stereo install Problems, 12VDC Ignition power

I recently installed a stereo in my 95 Corolla. It will not power up. The 12VDC ignition power is not present at the harness (dashboard end) when the car is turned on, and the digital clock no longer works either. All fuses checked good. All other dashboard items working properly (lights, switches) What am I missing? Is there an inline fuse/fusable link somewhere in the dawhboard? Help!!

I am having a very similar problem. The constant power from the battery is fine, however the switched 12V supply from the ignition is not there. I put a volt meter on it, and I have about 8 volts from the switched power source with the ignition off. When I turn the ignition on, I get about 2-3 volts. I did find that by wiggling the key in the ignition, I could intermittently get 12V from the switched source. This leads me to believe that either A) the ignition switch is bad or B) there is a short somewhere Like you, all fuses check fine. I've got to mess with this more tomorrow, I'll try to report what I find.
