Just bought a 2002 Toyota Camry with cyl engine and it is making a rattling noise when it first starts and then quiets down. Then it makes an almost rod like noise ever 7-10 seconds. It is the weirdest thing I have ever encountered. The repeating noise lasts for 1 to 1.5 seconds and then happens again 7-8 seconds later. Every 7-8 seconds it makes the noise of a wrist pin, rod or timing component something??? let me know if anyone out there has experienced the same thing. Tks
