I have a suzuki samurai that will not start. It is not getting any spark to plugs. I noticed that the two wires leading to the coil, with the ignition on, are 12v or hot. Is this an indicator of a bad coil? Also this is a off road only vehicle. the emmisions stuff is not on the jeep. It is carbeurated with a ecm , control module behind the glove box. It is not in the jeep it is gone. Does the jeep need this to make the coil give spark to the spark plugs? I just got this jeep from a friend only to take to the deer lease. I need to get it running. Any help would be great.

Hmm I don't know much about cars but I think that you should look into taking it to a mechanic.

Could be a bad start/run relay. It should be near the battery and it will have several wires connected to it.
