Canadian Samurai carb problem

I have tried for a year to get a carb kit for the stock Aisan dual throat carb on a Canadian Suzuki Samurai 1987 - no luck.

I am thinking I might replace the whole unit - read somewhere that a 1200cc Toyota Corolla carb 1973 will fit the intake manifold.

Is this a good idea? Can anyone help with advice or a reference to a site.

I think that you can find the kit that you are looking for at: Hawks Strictly Suzuki. I can not post there web link here.

they are located in Oregon and were able to help me with the carb kit for my 84 SJ410, while the dealer was not (here in Hawaii).
