I recently purchased a 2006 Subaru Outback. The dealership is pricey, and not very close to where I live.
I am trying to find a good shop to take my Outback to for general maintenance etc. I live in Carpinteria, CA which is very close to Santa Barbara.
I appreciate any suggestions!

At how many miles do you change the timing belt on a 2002 subaru outback wagon? I just had mine replaced at 65, 000 miles and I have this sinking feeling that it didn't have to be replaced at all. Is that true?

Hi, My Subaru LLBean Outback station wagon is wonderful. My questions. I have not had the timimg belt changed, should I do that right now?

Margo,
I too own a LL Bean Outback. This model comes with a 3.0 Liter 6 cylinder engine which contains a timing chain vs a belt so no replacement is needed.
