Subaru-Loyale -
very high idle (1500 to 2000 rpm)

Lately my engine won't idle down. I've tried adjusting the idle screw and throttle screw but no change. My Loyale has 205, 000 miles. Could it be an air or vacuum leak? Would changing the valve cover gaskets help? Thanks

how cold is it running?

mine will do that untill it warms up

try changing your thermostat and see if that helps
