I have a '92 loyale 4x4 that will engage into 4wd easily, but will take 20min or more with constant button pushing before the 4wd will disengage. This is what i have done so far; i will drive in a strait line for about 100 yards, which is what the mechanic told me to do, then i will put in the clutch and role to a stop and as i slow to about 5mph will disengage the 4wd. Nothing will happen and i will continue to do this for about 20min or so with no luck until randomly it will disengage on the 60th time of hitting the button. I have allow tried going in reverse and almost every other trick in the book. it is getting really annoying and wastes my time and gas. Is there something im missing?
