have a 93 sl2, runs great but having a problem with it stalling after it warms up for about 8 to 10 miutes and than it won't start again until it's cooled off for about a half hour and no it isn't from overheating.

Check your CTS or Coolant Temp Sensor, if not that Crankshaft Position Sensor. When your CTS is defective, it will shut the car off because its misreading engine temp. This is a safety mechanism to keep the vehicle from overheating. The CTS is located below the air intake. For a 93 you may have two sensors that may need replacing. Same thing for crankshaft position sensor. If the casing is defective the sensor will overheat and shut the car off. Both of which will allow the car to start once cooled. Start with the CTS.

I had a similar problem, in case however the engine would also start to rev up whlie driving. The problem with my car was the Iddle Control Valve and the spark plug coils. Defective coils will cause the car to stall and not turn on again until the engine is cold.
