I have a 95 SL1 i just noticed today on the way home from work that when the A/C is on the cooling fan for the radiator turns on, but when the A/C is off it does not kick on and the car runs a little hot, Does not over heat but gets up there in temp.

What could this be???

I had a friend buy this car for me at a dealer auction in March 2004 for $1500. When I bought it, it had 138, 000 miles on it; right now it has 185, 000. I'm not really sure how I feel about this car, or how long I plan on keeping it.

I would like to know which motor manufacturer was used for the saturn 1.8 or 1.9l motor. 1995 saturn ls1? I know it is a gm vehicle.

Matt, perhaps there's some loose wiring concerning the A/C and the radiator fan. Try looking at those. Though your car isn't overheating yet, it might result to such as time passes that it remains in that condition.
