My daughter lost her only key(w/chip) to her 2000 Saab 9-3. They say $1500 to replace. Help!
What are some alternatives? Thanks!

You might try looking on-line.
I've seen some one on Ebay offering a service, to make keys with matching chips for Saab's for less than the dealers.

Try looking up on ebay. This may help. We had lost a key fob for one our audis and managed to buy one cheaper from Ebay.

I also lost my only key for my 99 saab 93 convertible. Did anyone have any luck avoiding the high price tag quoted at the dealer? Any help would be appreciated.
