944 Insurance Value

I have a '89 Porsche 944 in excellent condition. It has 911 rims on it, B&B tri-flow exhaust system. I've had the car for 2 years. When I was looking at the Kelly Blue Book it said the book value was only around $4,200. I insure the car with collision. If the car is stolen, they'll only give me book value of $4,200 even though it's worth more or God forbid I get in accident and wipe out the side of my car and it costs say $3,800 to fix, they said they will total out my car. My insurance for my Porsche is the same as my Honda and the Honda value is $24,000. I need advice or ideas on how others insure their older 944s. Thanks for your response. Paul

insure through j.c. taylor and drive it like you stold it!

Insurances are for people who are insecure of bad thing that might happen in the future. I think if you drive carefully and take good care of anything you won't need insurances
