My 2001 Sunfire won't start. The problem starting when I turned the key and just got a click, After turning the key a couple times it finally started. A couple days later and now when you turn the key the car will turn over and catch for a second, but then it will die.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like your starter solinoid is getting week. I had the same problem with my sunfire. I changed the starter and hav'nt had a problem with it again. A new starter will be under $150 usually with a life time replacenent. they are really easy to change out.
