I recently purchased a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. It's a Factory 400 4-speed Posi car, and I have the PHS records. The car needs a lot of body work, and it appears to have been in a high impact crash, as the whole front clip was replaced by a 6 cylinder car. The quarter panels need to be replaced, as does the tail panel. It has the correct back seat, but the front buckets are from something else. Deluxe steering wheel, no console. The car has newish tires and a set of Rally II wheels. The current block in the car was cracked and is being replaced with a rebuilt '71 400 w/7J2 heads, 068 cam shaft and a 4 barrel Pontiac carb. All glass is good except for the windsheild. New carpet installed, also came with another '76 400 complete block w/6x heads, new black deluxe interior, weather stripping, repo right fender, repro front bumper. Some pictures can be seen here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2399365/4I just wanted to find out from some Pontiac experts in buying and selling what my cars current value would be. I love this car and know it would be well worth the effort. But money is getting a little tight and I know this car is just going to end up sitting for a while.
