I'm in the great search for a 1980 Pontiac Firebird with T-Tops. The reason for my search is I lost my brother almost 15 years ago and just prior to his passing he was driving a 1980 Pontiac Firebird with T-Tops and it was orange with white interior. Pontiac shows no orange so the color sould be considered Carousel Red or Fransico Red whatever the color is considered it was orange to the eye in my opinion. I've been searching for the actual car he had but much to my devistation the car is still registered to our Mom's name. So having the vin and tag #'s didn't do any good at all. My search grows stronger and stronger as the days go by, I have 4 children and my oldest is about to be 15 so I would love for him to be able to drive this car out on his first date. That is one electric blue top that i found on E-bay. It is an old car it will be harder to find top's for it.

I have just purchased my first 1980 trans am and I am having problems figuring out some things, like it has a quadrajet and I put an edelbrock on now the shaker wont go back on that is just one of many questions. Who can I get a hold of for answers thanks.

I have a 1980 trans am with t tops for sale. it has been parked for the past 15 years and to the best of my knowledge is the original engine, transmission, paint, body and so on. Everything is under the hood where it is suppose to be (except electric fuel pump). the car has 96000 miles on it and has been sitting outside. Tops seal great, will start and run, has had no water sitting inside so floor panels are good. trunk is a suprise for you, cant open it. i have a car hauler and will be able to transport within reason somewhere for drop off or delivery. we can work that out later. asking price is $5000 obo. email to luslist@yahoo.com and i can send some pics of the car. thanks for reading.
