recently wife puchased 86 fiero coupe has very hard time starting had to buy new battery. got it started and it drove for a mile to the store, shut it off and won't start.towed it home next day started,drove about 2 blocks and it died but it started right up this happened 3 times in a row stated and died no problem starting just will not stay running. now it is back in the driveway again it will not start Please if you know the problem get back to us.

Seems like a motor Problem. If you have experience with your car take the motor out and run it. Then you can see exactly whats going on. If you cant tell, then goto the body shop. Does the check engine light turn on btw?

I had that happen to my 86 Fiero GT. It was a bad distributor, I hade it replaced and it has not happened since.
