My '96 plymouth grand voyager runs perfectly in "P" and "N" position. Since i switch the gear to "R" or "D" (or "3" or "L"), the engine turns off. However, the engine restarts without any problems, but it is still not possible to switch into any gear.

ANY IDEAS?

I am thinking that it could be the clutch itself or a sensor at the clutch.
