I have a 2003 frontier which has had a clunk in the front end suspension ever since I bought it new. It comes from the front torsion bars when coming to a stop. I have heard same noise coming from other similiar year frontiers. I have had torsion bars removed and lubed 5 times under warrenty but noise returns after about 4000 to 6000 miles of use. The noise is very annoying and after 30,000 miles and numerous trips to the shop nissan technitions finally said live with it is a flaw in the front end suspension. Is there anyone out there that has the same metallic clunking sound? If you do e-mail me and tell me about it. The noise becomes very loud especially in dry summer conditions? Have been looking for a permanent solution but no one knows how fix it permanently. monkey10@isp.com

Well the best thing to do is buy a new vehicle and be sure that it's not nissan frontier so you won't experience the same flaws over again.
