I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier which I got used. When I bought the truck the driver side window was hard to crank, and it has become increasingly harder to crank. About a week ago I was trying to crank it and the actual nob broke. I have taken the pannel off in hopes of being able to lubricate it and have that fix the problem, but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions on what might be the problem?

I have a '91 with the same problem. The cables and the regulator assembly wears and then these parts start to bind. Mine finally broke the cable and other plastic parts. Went on ebay and bought new assembly for about $30. Very easy to replace.

i agree with the ebay buying.. the door panel comes off very easily. if you dont want to go to ebay you can just call your local nissan dealer and get one ordered..
