HEATER FAN STOPPED WORKING....NOT THE FUSES FOR BLOWER....ANY IDEAS

I had an issue with the fan related with inoperative high speeds. There is a resister that was replaced which apparently controls the fan speeds from the switch. The mechanic seemed to indicate it was a common replacement item.

Have you fixed this problem yet? If not I might be able to help. Post your email and I can email you pictures of the problem and give you step by step how too's on how to fix it. I have has this problem with my truck before.

The resistor should be in a piece of plastic duct work going from the blower motoron the right side to the center hump. You remove the glove box and the tin plate and you will have easy access. You can see the plug with about 5 wires that goes into it by looking under and behind the glove box.

2006 nissan frontier xe 4cyclinder the heater fan blows a fuse when I turn on the engine it runs fine with the engine off and the key on the on position. the dealers say they have never heard of such a problem
