| Free 1997 Nissan Truck Service ManualI have a 1997 Nissan Truck Model D21 Series Service Manual I purchased from the dealership when I bought my truck. I am in Houston and unfortunatelymy truck was a casualty of Hurricane Ike, so the manual is free for the taking (you pay postage). The manual was only needed a few time so is in perfect condition. |

| changed the switch (roller type) but the lights are very dim how hard is it to change the das lights..... |

| I own a 1997 Nissan King Cab, rear wheel drive. The Service Engine lite is on, which I am guessing that the CO2 sensor is out. Does anybody know if this model was before or after the Catalytic Converter without having to do a diagnostic? There is about a $90 dollar difference in price between the before and the after. |
| Just got the 1997 Nissa n Truck. Had to put on a new condensor. After charging, compressor still not cooling. The blower is working, but the push button a/c button is not lighting up. Any suggestions? Thanks |

#1901/07/11 09:47tony deese | Have lost my service manual, do you know the standard rear-end gear ratio for 97 xe standard 2-wheel dr 2.4 5-speed? Is the 4-wheel dr ratio different? Need more low end power and thought a lower gear would help. Like the truck so much even with 200, 000mi I don't want to trade. Also it's paid for, don't need payments. |
#2002/28/11 00:36kevin bayne | I have a 97 nissan pick up xe, 4cy, auto, i have had this truck for about 4 years with no problem until now, I have had mechanics replace my altenator belt about 4 or 5 times in the last 8 months, its fine until a month passes and then it squeels again?? I recently came to a light and my truck cut off on me, completely dead, i got a jump and got it to my house which was 5 min away, however i knew i needed a new ac belt and it has ben squeelin for about 2 months, when i got home i cut the ac belt off and jumped my truck it started but then i heard my altenator belt squeelin again, anyway i pulled off and then realized i had no power steering, i looked under my truck and saw it leakin, only a small leak, i popped the hood to add power steering fluid, and i cannot find it anywhere? i have located everything else but that, if any 1 can help me i would be very happy, thankyou for your time, |

Kevin, you add power steering fluid directly into the Power steering pump.Ryan, you need a code reader in order to get the error codes and reset the system to clear the light. |
