Battery and emergency brake indicator lights

I have a 1993 Nissan d21 pickup. About a week or so ago, for no apparent reason, the battery and e-brake indicator lights started flickering at me at weird times-sometimes when I first start it, sometimes when going through parking lots at low speeds, and sometimes when coming to a stop. It died completely on me once, and when I jumped it, it fired back up. I replaced the battery yesterday and everything tests fine now, except that those two lights started coming on again...any ideas would be helpful. Thanks
