Nissan-Pickup - 97 Nissan Pickup P0180 Code

I own a 97 Pickup XE, 4x4.I keep getting engine code P0180 "Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Malfunction." I have replaced the fuel temperature sensor (the sensor actually measures coolant temperature), and the code keeps poping up. I've reset the code a couple of times and it still appears, any ideas?

I have the same model as yours. You said you changed the FTS. Did you change the Fuel Level Sensor or FPR?Where is your Fuel Temperature Sensore supposed to beloacted in?

I changed the FPR, the Fuel Level Sensor was replaced the beginning of this year. The Temperature Sensor is supposed to be located on top of the engine on the coolant line. I asked at the local auto supply shop about the code and they said for the Nissan it was the coolant temp. sensor.
