Just driving down the road, everything in the dash will cut out, but engine stays running. It is a manual trans! Sometimes they will not come on at start up, but just come on while driving down the road. Replaced battery because it was old and cleaned various body and engine grounds. How many places can all this stuff be affected at the same time.

Check the electric part of the ignition switch sounds like the contacts are worn out in the accessories side of the switch
