I am having trouble trying to figure out why my dome light will not turn on when the door opens. It works ok from the dome light switch so the bulb is good.any help would be appreciated.

any one have a way to do this, with out tearing into the ECM pink wire with blue stripe.

Hi

I have a 1990 maxima, V6 auto and am having problems figuring out why I do not have power to the inner portion of the car until after the motor is running. This is an intermitten operation. when it first started acting up, I could start the car and drive it and nothing in the car operated. Things like, no horn, radio, antanna, accessories, turn signals etc. But the car runs and I do have head lights, tail lights only, nothing else.

I pulled out all fuses and checked them, reinstalled and checked them again using an OHM meter, everything checked good.

After a while of driving, everything would start working as if it never stopped working in the first place. Today, I can start the car and about 3 seconds later, you can hear a "winding" sound coming from under the center section of the dash area and then everything starts operating, sometimes intermittenly, most of the time things work like new.

Note: Months before this started happening, I was having the #2 engine cylender (Injector) operating the same way, it still does. My next step is to take the car to an automotive electrician ($80 hour) and have them tell me what the car problem is... that kind of money would kill my holidays.

Can anyone suggest a course of action?

The power windows circuitry has a 30 amp fuse under the steering around the fuse box area if I am not wrong.

I need a wiring diagram for a 1988 Nissan RU11 engine.Electronic fuel injection with twin spark EGR system.It is simmilar to the Maxima but has four cylinders and is Known as Nissan BlueBird.

I placed a 1990 Nissan Maxima power antenna into a 1994 Accura Integra. The power antenna has one purple and one white or gray wire. What are they for which is power and which is ground?

hey ... i like my 1990 maxima it only goty 100, 000 miles but the previous owner did not take care of the car.i had this car for 7 yrs then the tranny is out. i need a replcment.anyone have one that could sell me for cheap?r kow a place?

The power window / lock switch on the drivers door broke, A friend bought me another one from a junk yard, but it was for a different year. Obviously it blew a fuse (or more) because my tail lights, dash lights, all door locks, and all windows stopped working. He got my tail lights working the next day, but thats all. When I pulled the dash apart, I tested the wires, they all show positive. I've checked the fuses. Please help!

i have a 91 nissan maxima, and i just change one fuel injcetor, but the other fuel injectors are not working right it seems to me that the old wiring has something to do with it, what do you suggest.

I have a 1991 Nissan Maxima. The power windows work only when

they want. Recently, when the weather is wet the passengers window

will open and close by itself at startup. I've heard they use

a window "amplifier". Could this be the problem? Where is it

located?
