Any easy way to remove evaporator form a 96 maxima?

Mister, just pull it off...you do not still need it anyway. Better still, you could tabulate all the options you have at hand then choose the one you deem easiest. If that does not work, try the elimination method

Well that would be the best way to go, pull that not so good working part off your car. Then go to the nearest car shop in your home and get the problem fixed. If you cannot do it have someone knowledgeable deal with it. Just makes sure to bring with you some good cash for those people will make sure to get lots from you.
