Nissan-Maxima - Clutch Pedal on '05 Maxima completely depressed to floor : (

Hi All, My clutch pedal is completely on the floor with no pressure whatsoever. I can't even lift it up with my foot to GET some pressure and get it into gear. I purchased the car used last year. About three days after I bought it, the same thing happened with the clutch. I took it back and was told they replaced the clutch plate. After that, everything was fine. Then gradually over time I noticed that after it had been driven a lot that day, with lots of starts and stops, the pedal would slowly lose pressure and begin to do what it did before plate was replaced. However, unlike last time, after turning it off and letting it sit for a few hours, the pressure would be back and all was normal. With this last time though, despite sitting for a few hours, the pedal was STILL on the floor. Any suggestions on what the deal could be??? Thanks in advance!

Hi Lauren, For the first time, I became so fed up with my clutch getting loose and then gaining pressure again before I can show it to a mechanic that I began searching the internet for an answer. I have the exact same problem with my 05' Maxima as you do with yours. I mean Exactly! I'm sorry but I dont know what the problem is. But I noticed your post was from May and I was just hoping you found out what the problem is for both mine and your sake. Thank You, Nezar Ilaian

Hello everyone, I have 05 maxima that I just bought in May with 68k on it, I have only put about 4k on it since and the clutch is slipping, have not took to a machanic yet, just wanted to know if this was normal to have the clutch go so soon, or is there something that I need to check, like fluid or something that Im missing. thanks for any response that you may have.
