1990 Nissan Maxima Speakers won't make any noise at all!

Hey, i was screwing around with the rear speakers in a 1990 nissan maxima GXE, when i found out that one of the rear speakers still worked after all these years. When i tried to get the other rear speaker to work i had to strip the rubber of the wires and once i did that and turned the car back on, none of the speakers worked. I REALLY NEED HELP! Someone give me a suggestion on how to fix this. I really hope i didn't short out the whole thing.

look if there not working at all that can mean more then one thing u might have some wires touching look behind the radio and check all speakers even if there blown they should make noise still but it just sounds like you have wires touching each other are metal AlWayS PUT black tape are some kind of shield to keep wires from touching anything
