Nissan remote locks work but no horn sounds

I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier truck bought used, I am trying to find out if when the remote door locks are activated is the horn supposed to sound, the lights light up but it does not beep when the doors are locked remotely, I have a toyota that does and I want the Nissan to do this but I think someone has removed or deactivated it on my Nissan. What parts are needed if it is supposed to sound off.
