Nissan-300ZX -
300 ZX quits running

My 1990 300ZX quits running about 30 minutes after it starts, My mechanic believes the cam sensor is faulty as it eads at the low range of acceptable as per his test equipment. He claims it weakens when the engine heats up. He has checked everything else possible. Anyone have any experience with this type of problem?
