I AM THE OWNER OF A 2004 MITSUBISHI LANCER PURCHASED NEW FROM THE LOCAL AGENT IN BARBADOS.AFTER 5 YEARS MY CVT TRANSMISSION GOES BAD AND BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A SERVICE RECORD WITH THE AGENT COMPANY I AM UNABLE HAVE THIS MAJOR OBVIOUS DEFECT RESOLVED.
WHAT DO I DO? DOES MITSUBISHI JAPAN RESPOND TO THESE ISSUES? THIS IS THE SECOND PURCHASE OF A NEW MITSUBISHI LANCER, THE FIRST HAD A TOP MOUNT PROBLEM?
STILL UNABLE TO USE MY CAR AFTER 6 WEEKS. LOCAL COST OF TRANSMISSION IS PROHIBITIVE (BDS $13K; US$ 6.5K) PLEASE HELP!
