Transmission problem

My 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0 convertible showed it had a bad B & C selonoid in the valve body - I replaced those, filled it back up to test drive and it now feels like it is binding up - also now shows a Code 42 - incorrect 2nd gear ratio. Anyone have an idea what's wrong? Many Thks< scott
