I can't find the damn drain on the radiator of a 1999 Mercory Sable, 3.0 liter. I sure would appreciate any help you can give me........

I have the same problem. haven't found the drain valve. another problem is "No Heat" It seems the coolant flow to the heater core is very slow. Get heat momentarily but goes cold shortly after turned on. Need to drain coolant in order to troubleshoot. It appears removing a hose is only option.

The drain plug is plastic and it's located on the drivers side on the bottom of the radiator. You'll have to remove the plastic shield first and if memory serves me there is about 6 bolts that hold that up. good luck
