my bypass hose is basically gone I tried to patch it up but it doesn't seem to work it just starts to leak out some more coolant. another thing is that it won't change gears it will start up first and stay on first I think its the vacuum line or filter. can't anyone tell my how to replace these part it would be a great help thank you.

im not sure exactly why its starting off in 1st gear but i can tell u how to change the modulator and the tranny filter if it is the 722.3 ne other tranny im not sure but ill explain how to do it on the 722.3 tranny...the modulator has 1 allen screw and it should come right out and the tranny filter i think it is a 5 mm allen screw to remove to drain the fluid 6 13mm bolts that hold the pan on and 3 phillip screws to take off the filter replace the gasket and be sure that u do not pinch the gasket or that it does not fold over because it will leak bad obviously and u just reverse install everything on the driver side of the pan there should be a bracket that screws on with the center bolt for the speedo cable
