As for your request DONT, they have a nice ability to them but if your gonna go mazda go mazda speed which is the mazda protege (sedan looking one)

i had a protege 5 and well if you like to rag the ride as you go (ie race etc) it didnt handle to well (engine valves, rings etc)

now thee protege Speed is ready for turbo hardly any extra modifications needed

anyways its your ride choose what you like
