hello everyone my question is why do my back brake light on the drivers side go out when i hit the brake only when my park lights are on but when my park lights are off it works just fine. ive checked all my bulbs in both sides and thats not my problem. can someone could help thanks

I have a 98 Lexus 400 and the right rear brake lights do not work.

Took the cover off (in the trunk lid) and could not figuer out how to get the bulbs out which are in the top and bottom of the three panels. I do not want to take the whole compartment apart and the Lexus garage wants $50 bucks to change the bulbs (never going to buy another Lexus from them). Any help would be appreciated.

There should be two screw caps between the trunk opening and the tail-light assembly (black round plastic disks, visible when the trunk lid is open). Pop off those caps from the notch at the bottom with a screwdriver and there will be a phillips head screw underneath each cap. Remove those screws and pull the entire lamp assembly straight back. You can then access each of the bulbs which can be easily removed with a 1/4 turn.

I am trying to replace a brake light on a 95 ls400. The light is located on the inside of the rear windshield. I can't figure out how to get it out. Either I have to go in from the trunk or pry up the plastic housing from the inside. I don't see any screws or snaps and I'm concerned if I force anything it will break. Any advice?

the tail lights don't work? the brake lights work fine no licsence lights either? HELP!!!

well, I think you need a local mechanic to check that one man..Your tail lights might be damaged..The mechanic might advise you to change it..
