Lexus-LS 400 - Problem with charging battery

I have a 1992 Lexus LS400. Some electrical fault is causing a dead battery over and over. No warning lights have ever come on. Sometimes I can jump start it and drive for a while, but eventually I am unable to jump start the car. This has happened 3 or 4 times in the last 2 months. My mechanic has checked everything. He says he can detect that there is a drain on the battery, but he can not find it. This has happened 3 or 4 times in the last 2 months. Any suggestions? rj

Go to a different mechanic and if he too does not detect anything, then perhaps there is a bigger problem. If you have not been servicing your car more often, that could explain why the problem is persisting. You will best handle it with a professional in any case. Is it hard finding spare parts of this model? All the best.

That is an old model of the Lexus. Why not let the professionals examine it and fix it for you? There might be a slight problem with your charging system. A drain in the battery had better be fixed fast before it escalates to an even bigger situation. It all boils down to how frequent you normally sevice your car and whether you take it to the right people.

I suggest that you contact someone who knows how to deal with lexus and lexus batteries. Try seeking for help in auto mechanics in your place. Anyway, for those people who are looking for a nice lexus battery, try this link out. They have several batteries available for lexus models. Here is the link, you can try to search for more in the net if the site did not provide what you are looking for.

Wow! I can't believe that the LS 400 hundred is giving such a problem. Once the issue is resolved, however, it should work pretty fine though, because even though Toyota parts are indeed expensive, they are also very much reliable and they also tend to last a pretty long time.
