GS Trunk Lid Stuck

I recently purchased a used '03 GS300. It's in excellent condition and I believe it's been well taken care of. I've had it about 2 weeks and all of a sudden the trunk won't open. (it worked fine until last night) I can hear a click when I press the remote button on the key, as if it's trying to open. Same with the release in the dash... I hear a click, but it doesn't actually open. When I put the key in the lock, I can't turn it. So I'm assuming it's a mechanical problem with the latch itself... or the lock. I know there's a keyed button lock in the dash beside the release and I've tried locking and unlocking it there, but still no go. Any thoughts? Is there another switch somewhere that I'm not aware of? Any ideas about how I can get in to at least "see" the latch (and maybe oil it or something)?Thanks for any help... Tom

If your key button, and your buttton on the left side where you push down. Try the master button. Its in ur glovecompartment by the left hinge. There's also a keyhole on the trunk lid. Above ur license plate in the corner.
