The cabin filter is located somewhere around the the main air conditioning vent. I am not fully sure.

On my ES300 Lexas, the instructions listed here will not
work as there is not a screw on the sliding stops (2) of them.
The stops are a part of the plastic glove box and so I'm
stuck and don't know how to remove the glove box to gain
axcess to the filter. Thanks for any help you can give.
Hi Don,
why don't you try at:
the answer there is:
"Kneel down at the driver's door well area, reach in toward the accelerator pedal, pull back the carpet between the pedal and center console, there is a white plastic panel you pull out and then you can see the cabin air filter cover (part of the heater box) takes about 20 minutes to change. I think the filter comes in two parts you pull out one tray, drop down the second filter, fit it in its tray push it back up into it's housing and then slide in the second filter."
My experience is that I had two filters, one thin and one wide, and only one small slot to put them together there. First you push the smaller one into to free slot, This slot will be seen after you followed the instruction above, and then you have to lift it up, so that you can make free space to put the wide filter into the same slot. Just try to imagine how it could be (TETRIS). If you had previous filters inside it will help you a lot. You'll see how they are placed. I didn't have them, so it was not easy to imagine how to put them inside - two filters, one slot.
Literally the thin one stays above the wide one.
Does anyone have a video on how to do this? What I have is a general instruction video which is on the link that i have included.
