I have a 1980 Jeep J-10 with a broken exhaust manifold on a 4.2 liter (258 cubic inch). A blown head gasket required a take-a-part, thus the broken exhaust manifold. I'm told only another exact '80 year part will work. '79 or '81 don't work. Anyone know if this is true and where I might get a good replacement part? A house fire last year forces me to sell this critter, so I have to fix this. These Jeep Trucks are great. I understand that any 4.2 from '80 will work (Concord, Cherokee, Eagle, etc). I even thought about having it welded, but I hear that's a day dream. Please share what you can. Thanks so much. Safe 4 wheelin' ya'll.
