Jump in RPMs on Grand Cherokee

When driving, I noticed the RMPs jumping from

1500 to 2500 at 60 mph. Normally 2000 when

driving 70 mph. Just had new plugs and wires put

in... When I'm driving in the city and I come to

a light, at a full stop, the RPMs increase. It

doesn't do it all the time. But it does do it

alot when I use cruise control.

Check engine light

just came on. Any ideas? Please help.

I just read your post and I am having the exact same issue with my 2004 v8 overland cherokee.

What did you end up doing or is it still an issue?
