I have a problem with other peoples alarms for their vehicles setting a security system in the jeep. It will not start when this happens. Only remote given upon purchase of vehicle is remote control engine starter (AstroStart) model # 803. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do about this security system. Is there any way to disconnect or bypass itHELP PLEASE!

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition V-8 having problems with the factory installed security system, I bought the vehicle used and someone cut the wires in the driver door, now the security light comes on and it wont start, I've changed the fuel pump, the map sensor, the crank shaft sensor, the celiniod, the battery terminals, and put a new battery in it, now I still can't get it to start. If anyone can think of what else I should do PLEASE let me know.

to over ride the system, take the key and MANUALLY lock and unlock the passenger side front door. that should clear it for you.
